This week is a graffiti rethink, some explosive painting and lots of hands. Technically its not all this week but wtvr. Pleased for the most part but i know i have better in me. waiting for the day when im thinking more along the lines of composition and what i want to convey rather than just drawing correctly. Its a long way off but thats goal number 1.

Probably gonna start breaking these posts into categories rather than one big bulk post as its easier to index and search.

Think the colours are a bit much on the piece, i went for a more complicated fill and kinda lost the funk of the outline in the progress, live and learn. The face is just for shits and giggles.

Suprised Noh

A random Noh mask (they wear them in traditional Japanese Noh theatre) that i did on the quick. Going to be doing some more refined versions of other masks like the classick hanya and tengu but with my own little spin on them.

Doing Bird

From the cockney rhyming slang "bird lime" which means "time" as in prison time. Just something quick and fun i did whilst pondering if you could actually hang a bird. Metaphors abound!

Pencil on some paper i kinda washed in a wierd ink that i had to clean out of a pen of mine. I think i acheived some kind of effect but i was honestly just winging it trying something different.

I think this may be a self portrait.

I still have plans for at least another one of these type things.
