Artist Spotlight - James Jean

James Jean is a artist of rare talent, a favourite of mine that i rediscovered in the last week or so. His work is clean and clear, images of every variety but especially skilled in figurative and detail work. To show one picture would not be fair at all and to show two pictures is still an injustice to this thrilling and awe inspiring artist. Please take the time to click the link below and check out their personal site. I especially enjoy the sketch work.

Artist Spotlight - ARYZ

An artist that recently blew my mind is the above mentioned ARYZ. Combining external skeletons with rubbery limbs and complex themes, often painted over huge walls of apartment blocks etc. ARYZ has everything you need when it comes to creating interesting original characters and is most definately a force to be reckoned with in the graffiti scene. Please check out their website and enjoy a variety of works from this highly skilled artist.

Artist Spotlight - Alex Pardee

Its hard to find an appropriate way to describe this guy... He is really out there. Undulating, viscera of monsters, all quite street influenced i feel. Recently depicting children trapped inside said monsters for an ongoing conceptual theme. Hes done work for some  very high exposure projects, such as The Used and even a poster for Inglorious Bastards. You can find his work often frequenting magazines like juxtapoz and high fructose among many others.

Check out his art, his blog is also well worth a look.

A serious surreal heavyweight dealing with a plethora of themes from children with meat on tricycles in pink nazi uniforms to santa, bees and gelatinous primordial underskirts. Sounds nuts? It is. Now check him the fuck out.

Artist Spotlight - Josh Keyes

Now this guy completely blew me away when i first stumbled upon him out in the neto. He has been featured in Hi-Fructose and very recently in Juxtapoz.

He draws animals mostly in a strange surreal world that draws heavily on a subdued environmental commentary.

Just check him out, hes awesome.
